Our Club Squad provides an opportunity for swimmers who prefer not to compete regularly, to train predominantly for leisure. Club Squad members must be competent in all strokes.
Club Squad swimmers have 3 sessions available to them per week. There are no attendance expectations for this squad, but it is recommended that our Club Squad swimmers attend at twice per week to ensure their fitness and general swimming technique is supported to progress.
Our Club Squad members are invited to represent Team Jorvik at our annual Jorvik Galas, and there are also opportunities to compete in other Galas throughout the year, if swimmers wish to.
SQUAD FEES.
Squad fees are charged per month, with one month’s notice required for any swimmers wishing to leave the club. Payments are taken via GoCardless.
All members are affiliated to Swim England, Swim England North East and Yorkshire Swimming Association. These fees cover insurance for the swimmers whilst training with the Club and competing in galas. The fees are set by these organisations each year and are subject to change. Members joining part way through the year will still have to pay the full fee. The Swim England payment is taken via GoCardless annually and the fee information can be found via the button below.
