TEAM JORVIK SWIM CLUB is committed to providing an environment in which all children and young people participating in its activities have a safe and positive experience.

Kerrie Barrow is our appointed Welfare Officer and deals with all child safeguarding matters raised within TEAM JORVIK. Kerrie is passionate about the welfare of our swimmers, and about young people’s health and well being.

TEAM JORVIK adheres to the guidelines laid out in Swim England's Wavepower documents. The aim of Wavepower is to safeguard all children in line with current legislation, regulations and guidance. A hard copy of this document is held by the Welfare Officers, and it can also be viewed and downloaded from the link above.

If you have a question or concern regarding child welfare, please inform our Welfare Officers. Alternatively, there is a dedicated helpline for anyone wishing to raise a safeguarding or welfare concern directly to Swim England called Swimline on 0808 100 4001.
